Procedures for the issuance of entry visa

-           Appointment

Prior the application in person, each applicant shall fix an appointment for submission of the visa documents at General Consulate telephone number in Chisinau. On the appointment day and time applicants must come to the General Consulate bringing their passports. Applications must be submitted in person. However, for those who reside more than 200 miles (300 kms) from the General Consulate, the applications may be submitted by recorded delivery enclosing a registered self-addressed special delivery envelope for the safe return of the passport and the documents. Application for visa can also be submitted by a close relative provided they present a power of attorney from the visa applicant, legalized by Notary Public.

-           Applying for visa

Everyone must complete the Application for visa form signed by the applicant (or the legal guardian in the case of minors) with 2 passport sized photographs attached (3x4 cm).

Everyone must complete the Questionnaire of the Honorary General Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus in the Republic of Moldova.

The passport submitted for the issuance of visa shall be valid for at least six months longer than the validity of the visa being applied for.

-           Receiving visa

All the procedures for visa take up to 5 (five) working days. Each applicant for Cyprus visa will be contacted via telephone number provided in the application form, and will be informed whether his / her visa was granted / rejected. All applicants who were granted visas shall pay consulate fee for the visa, applied in their passports. All applicants, whose visas were rejected, shall pick up their passports from the General Consulate’s office as mentioned above.
